An appeal court in London has found in favor of the OW Bunker estate in a recent trial that could pave the way for similar verdicts in a long range of cases concerning ownership of bunker fuel delivered in the run-up to OW Bunker’s bankruptcy, Danish TV channel TV2 said on its website Friday.
The case in question, between OW Bunker and energy company PST Energy 7, came closer to reaching its final conclusion Thursday when London Court of Appeal found in favor of the curator for the OW Bunker trustee. According to the TV channel’s business news branch, TV2 Finans, it means that several hundred similar cases concerning the right to the oil could fall in favor of OW Bunker.
