Russia wants to double oil and gas exports to Asia

Russia plans to double its export of oil and gas to Asia over the next 20 years.

Changes are underway in the Russian oil and gas sector, according to a document published on the Russian Ministry of Energy's website. A document that portends an even greater focus on the export of oil and gas to Asia. According to Reuters the Russian government wants to change the country's export pattern, to double the volumes of oil and gas exported to Asia ahead of 2035, to 32 percent in total.
