Fiat family set to buy into Welltec

Welltec will drop plans for an IPO after the famous Agnelli-family, with assets ranging from football club Juventus to Ferrari, has emerged willing to invest in the company.

One of Europe's richest families is getting involved with Danish oil company Welltec. This has been confirmed by the Danish oil company's founder and majority shareholder Jørgen Hallundbæk to Danish newspaper Berlingiske. It started with a move by the Dutch fund 7 Industries to pay about USD 225 million for a quarter of the shares, half of which they intend to sell on by the end of the year.
