Topaz lands five-year contract with BP for 14 vessels

Offshore carrier Topaz Energy and Marine has secured a contract from BP to service the oil major in the Caspian Sea. The deal covers 14 of Topaz' vessels which will be on contract for five years.

In the midst of what numerous observers describe as the worst ordering scenario ever for the world's offshore supply carriers, Dubai-based Topaz Energy and Marine has secured a five-year contract with BP for 14 of the carrier's vessels, according to a press release from Topaz.
