Peter Abildgaard, whose professional background includes Torm and Navig8, has been chosen to head ship management company V. Ships' new office in Copenhagen. Even though the carriers are under pressure, the market remains active, he says, and outsourcing is no longer a remote notion.

Starting today, ship management company V. Ships now has a branch in Copenhagen. Peter Abildgaard, who comes from a position as Head of Operation at Navig8 as well as former senior executive at Torm, where he served as Vice President of Global Operations, Tank, has been chosen to head the company's Danish office.
