Greek Costamare grew in 3rd quarter

Stock-listed Greek containership owner Costamare achieved growth in the third quarter of the year, and the company added another vessel to its fleet in collaboration with York Capital Management.

Greek Costamare, which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange, finished the 3rd quarter with an improved profit as well as result. The containership owner achieved a profit (voyage) of USD 124.7 million and a net result of USD 37 million.

Both results come as good news compared to USD 110 million and USD 20.9 million, respectively, in the same period last year, according to the company's interim report.
