The benefit of higher Asia-Europe rates was short

After a significant improvement last week, the development for the freight rates between Asia and Europe is back to the sad story of the past weeks: Major declines.

On the heavy trade route from Asia to North Europe, the price to freight a twenty-foot container (teu) fell 25 percent to USD 833 this week.
