Euronav elects new chairman

The board of Belgian carrier Euronav has found the successor to major shareholder and former chairman Peter Livanos, who sold off most of his shares in early November. The new Chairman previously served as the head of Nordea's shipping and oil division.

Belgian tanker carrier Euronav has appointed a new member to its board of directors and has at the same time elected a new chairman to succeed Peter Livanos, says the carrier. The new chairman is Carl Steen, who has experience with the shipping and the oil industries, having served as the former head of Nordea's shipping, oil service and international divisons.
