Given the strongest rates and the most promising tanker market for years, it would seem like almost a formality for tanker carriers like BW Pacific and Hafnia Tankers to raise additional capital by listing on the Oslo and New York stock exchanges before the end of 2015.
However, investors have become much more critical toward the booming tanker market after many shareholders experienced huge losses in the dry bulk industry's meltdown and a strained container sector, say analysts.
