Maersk disregards EU shipbreaking list and will send more ships to Alang

At the turn of the year, the EU's list of which shipbreaking facilities shipowners can use to scrap their ships will come into force. As it looks now, two Indian yards in Alang, which have applied for inclusion on the list, do not look set to make the cut. But this will not make much of a difference for Maersk.
