How MCI plans to beat its competitors

Maersk's container factory eyes improvements in the market for reefer containers, where carriers are once again placing orders. The company plans to grow its market share by five percent in 2015 in spite of fierce competition.

Container carriers are once more placing orders for new reefer containers from the manufacturers, which means that a three-year decline seems to have stopped. In this light, the Maersk Group's container factory Maersk Container Industry (MCI) eyes an improved chance of growth in the coming year, Søren Leth Johannsen, CCO, tells ShippingWatch when describing the future of the global reefer container industry.
