French CMA CGM, the third-largest container carrier in the world, has increased its share of the attractive reefer market in 2014. The carrier's combined reefer container transport volumes have grown 13 percent compared to the same period last year - in a market that has grown 6.5 percent during the same period - according to the carrier.

CMA CGM has just acquired 7,000 40-foot (feu) so-called High Cube reefer containers, which according to the carrier will make it possible to reach the target of a total one million transported reefer containers before 2015.
