Solstad Farstad to lay off fewer people than expected
Norwegian offshore carrier Solstad Farstad is preparing to lay off as many as 30 seafarers. But the number could have been much higher if the winds in the offshore market had not shifted somewhat in recent months.
The slow market for offshore carriers means that Solstad Farstad now has to fire 25 to 30 seafarers.
