Liner companies pay soaring sums for charter deals

With fewer and fewer large ships available, container lines are willing to pay sky-high prices to charter ships that are delivered during 2025.

Prices for chartering container ships are sky-high. Yet shipping lines are already signing contracts for ships that will not be delivered until the end of the year or in 2025, reports Alphaliner.
