Brighter times ahead for offshore vessels in North Sea

Rates on long-term contracts for supply ships in the North Sea are twice as high in February than they were a year ago, reports Clarksons Platou Securities in a new update.

Rates on offshore supply ships in the North Sea sailing on slightly longer contracts have started to increase for the first time in years, as the shorter daily rates in the spot market remain at very low levels.
