Rosneft made gains on new field and settlement

Russia's state-owned oil company grew across the board in 2017, as a gas field started production and a one-off settlement sum contributed to the growth.

Rosneft's revenue and result both shot up in 2017.

The state-owned oil company's revenue grew from USD 77.2 billion in 2016 to USD 106.4 billion last year, while the net result landed at USD 3.8 billion, marking growth from USD 2.7 billion in 2016, shows Rosneft's annual report Monday.
