Valuating offshore vessels has become such a complicated task that numerous shipbrokers are now refraining from doing so, reports Norwegian media Sysla.

The media has made a survey of listed Norwegian offshore shipping companies, which have reportedly impaired fleet asset values by NOK 18.6 billion (USD 2.3 billion) in recent years.
