Wintershall invests more than EUR 1 billion in Norwegian field

German oil company Wintershall will invest upwards of NOK 10 billion in the expansion of the Nova field in Norway. The field will create as many as 10,000 new jobs.

Norway is facing a major expansion of the country's oil industry, as the Nova field will now be developed for production. The operator on the field is German oil and gas company Wintershall, while Capricorn, Spirit Energy, Edison and Dea will be co-owners.
