OPEC oil output climbs to record level this year

The OPEC members' output reached its highest level this year in July. An even larger oil output could result in a temporary production halt and force prices up.

Oil prices declined Thursday after a report showed that OPEC member states' oil output reached its highest point this year in July. However, the loss was limited as concerns around supply gradually dwindlled.
