British oil company BP has once again beat its own record in the quarter, exiting the period with bottom line of USD 3.3 billion – an increase of 88 percent relative to the same period last year.

BP informs that its result should be attributed mainly to "higher liquids and gas realizations and higher production from the ramp-up of major projects" and due to the fact that the company's underlying production is growing due to larger volumes from new projects.
