BW Offshore increased its profit in 2018

Both the top and bottom line grew for offshore company BW Offshore in 2018. The shipping company sees signs of an improved market, in which a higher oil price is expected to result in extended contracts for ships.

BW Offshore, part of the BW Group, exits 2018 with an improved revenue as well as bottom line.

The offshore shipping company's revenue grew by USD 244.4 million to USD 870.4 million, according to the annual report. For 2018, profit increased to USD 76.8 million before taxes against USD 43.5 million in 2017.
