Oil from new fields could triple in 2019

The production of oil and gas from new fields could triple in 2019 compared to the year before, projects analyst firm Rystad Energy, though it also warns that just a few mega- projects are pulling the load.

Rystad Energy expects that the global oil and gas production could grow significantly in 2019.

In a new brief, the Norwegian analyst firm projects that the output from new oil fields could grow three-fold in 2019 compared to last year.
