Maersk Supply Service has been awarded a contract by a major US oil company, says the Maersk Group's offshore ship operator in a statement Thursday.

Maersk Supply Service will supply mooring solutions for floating production, storage and offloading vessels, FPSOs, in the Gulf of Guinea for the customer, which is not mentioned by name in the statement.
