Two US bills may extend offshore tax credit

Two bills propose an extension on the US Investment Tax Credit on offshore wind, which otherwise expires at the end of the year. The energy sector supports the initiative.

This week, the US Senate has seen two bills proposing an extension on the existing Investment Tax Credit (ITC) scheme for offshore wind, which is otherwise slated to expire by the end of the year.
