Authorities: Detained tanker is full of crude oil

Local authorities in Gibraltar now establish that tanker vessel Grace 1 is loaded with crude oil, writes Reuters. The vessel is being detained in Gibraltar on suspicions that it was heading to Syria.

VLCC Grace 1 was filled to the brim with crude oil when it was detained off the coast of Gibraltar on suspicions that the vessel was heading to Syria, the government of the British territory now concludes in a statement Reuters has seen.
