LNG export market shifts down under

Australia is on track to becoming the world's largest LNG exporter, supplanting Qatar, the US Energy Information Administration projects.

Australia is slated to soon become the world's largest liquefied natural gas exporter, show estimates from the US Energy Information Administration, EIA.

Australia has in fact already overtaken Qatar as the number one exporter measured on several parameters, first and foremost its larger export capacity. The country has already surpassed Qatar in months such as November 2018 and April 2019.
