Pressured Bourbon reduces stacked fleet

French Bourbon has managed to lower its number of stacked ships in the first half of the year. But the shipping company, which is in the midst of a larger rescue plan, has booked another significant deficit for the first six months and continues to struggle with low fleet utilization.

The number of stacked ships was reduced by one tenth at Bourbon Corporation in the first half of 2019, the French offshore carrier informs in a financial statement on the period.

The statement reveals that Bourbon is still struggling at a time when it is in the process of landing a rescue plan.
