Houthi rebels seize South Korean ships in the Red Sea

Houthi rebels have seized two South Korean ships in the southern part of the Red Sea. One of the vessels in question is a tug boat currently towing a South Korean drilling rig.

Yemeni Houthi rebels have seized three vessels, two of which are South Korean-owned, in the southern part of the Red Sea.

Two South Korean citizens are allegedly on board one of the vessels, informs a South Korean Foreign Ministry official Monday night. Another four people of unknown nationalities are allegedly also aboard the vessel.
