Fresh reports confirm the already well-known fact that Johan Sverdrup is a serious driving force for the Norwegian oil industry – but not only that. The field's output has been so considerable that it has been able to make up for output levels that have for a long time generally been lower than expected on the Norwegian shelf, Bloomberg writes based on figures from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate.
