Maersk Drilling plans to lay off upwards of 170 employees

Maersk Drilling downgrades its guidance for 2020 for the first time this year. The company now expects an adjusted operating profit of USD 250-300 million and will lay off upwards of 170 employees on shore.

Maersk Drilling downgrades its guidance for 2020 for the second time in just a few months, says the drilling rig operator in an update Thursday.

The company also says that it plans to lay off between 150 and 170 employees on shore.
