Contract renegotiations strain offshore ship operators in the North Sea
The offshore shipping companies are renegotiating contracts on a large scale. In some cases rates in the North Sea are reduced by one third, estimates broker Clarksons Platou in an interview with ShippingWatch.
A new downturn for an already strained industry has in recent months forced a large number of offshore supply vessel operators to enter negotiations with their customers.
