Scorpio's offshore company appeals NYSE delisting

Hermitage Offshore urges the New York Stock Exchange to drop a planned delisting of the company's stock. The Scorpio-controlled offshore company is under bankruptcy protection in the US and is undergoing a restructuring.

In an appeal to the New York Stock Exchange, Hermitage Offshore Services now requests to remain listed on the exchange.

The US stock exchange had otherwise announced plans to delist the Scorpio-controlled company's stock after it filed for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 11 in the US earlier this month. The filing was a voluntary act as part of the company's restructuring, Hermitage writes in a statement.
