Seadrill buys shareholders out of Asia Offshore Drilling

John Fredriksen's Seadrill has acquired the remaining shares in company Asia Offshore Drilling for USD 31 million.

Rig operator Seadrill informs Tuesday morning that it has bought 33.76 percent of the shares in Asia Offshore Drilling for USD 31 million.

After the acquisition, Seadrill, through its subsidiary Seadrill Rig Holding, now owns all shares in Asia Offshore Drilling.
