Norwegian oil strike called off

The Norwegian Oil and Gas Association reached an agreement with trade union Lederne on Friday, ending ten days of ongoing conflict between the parties.

Since Sept. 30, an oil strike has affected the Norwegian oil industry to such a degree that six fields have been impacted, and 330,000 daily barrels of oil have disappeared, while a potential next phase looked set to threaten the enormous field Johan Sverdrup.
