Former energy minister set to join Solstad board

Thorhild Widvey, former oil and energy minister in Norway, is expected to be elected onto Solstad's board of directors when the Norwegian offshore ship operator holds an extraordinary general assembly this week.

Norwegian offshore ship operator Solstad will make changes to its board of directors. Thorhild Widvey, former oil and energy minister in Norway, is expected to be elected onto the company's board of directors at its extraordinary general assembly this week.

Furthermore, Peter Sortland, Ellen Solstad and Ingrid Kylstad have been proposed as new board members for the company. They are expected to replace Merete Haugli and Toril Eidesvik. And the board will also be expanded by two to six members. Chairman Harald Espedal and Frank Reite are also up for reelection, but they have both been nominated for the board for another two-year term.
