Equinor's CFO steps down – replacement found internally

Lars Christian Bacher steps down as CFO of  Equinor. The Norwegian oil giant has found an in-house replacement.

Lars Christian Bacher has decided to resign from Equinor, thereby leaving his position as chief financial officer and executive vice president, effective from November this year.

He will, however, remain in the employ of the Norwegian oil giant up to May 31, 2021, Equinor writes in a press statement.
