Media: Banks divest their debt in Seadrill ahead of tough negotiations

Danske Bank and two other well-known banks have divested some of their claims against Seadrill ahead of difficult negotiations about the future of the rig company, Norwegian media learns.

Several banks have sold off their debt in Seadrill ahead of what are expected to be tough negotiations to land another rescue plan for the strained rig company.

Norwegian business media Dagens Næringsliv has learned that Danske Bank has sold claims against Seadrill totaling USD 240 million.
