Equinor and Total in dispute about faulty wells

A dispute worth NOK 2 billion arises among Equinor and Total.

The problem-stricken Martin Linge field continues to be a thorn in Equinor's side.

Since the final investment decision was taken for the field in 2012, the bill has swelled from NOK 31 to 60.8 billion (EUR 2.97 to 5.83 billion). However, the field's issues, stemming back from when Equinor acquired the asset in 2018, continue.
