Prosafe CEO is optimistic about 2021 despite USD 1 billion loss

Prosafe has lost more than USD 2 billion in five years, and the offshore company continues to be in talks with its creditors about a comprehensive rescue plan. And yet, CEO Jesper K. Andresen is optimistic about imminent market improvement.

2020 became another problematic year for Norwegian rig company Prosafe, which more than doubled its deficit to USD 950.1 million.

But despite the red figures marring the bottom line, the company's chief executive, Jesper K. Andresen, still believes the coming year will see an increase in activities - resembling something like pre-covid levels.
