Ørsted expects significant growth in offshore wind in Europe

Ørsted projects significant growth in the market for offshore wind in Europe in the coming years, and the utility has established an office in Sweden, while also considering entering Belgium. "We expect to be active in the North Sea as well as the Baltic Sea going forward," says Ørsted head of region.

Ørsted still expects to grow in the European market, which, according to the company, still holds significant potential for offshore wind. Ørsted recently secured two large-scale offshore wind projects in Poland through its Polish partner PGE, reports Danish business daily Børsen.
