Wilhelmsen and Østensjø to take wind venture public

Wilh. Wilhelmsen group and Norwegian company Østensjø plan to list joint wind venture Edda Wind on the Oslo Stock Exchange. The company just ordered several vessels.

Wilh. Wilhelmsen group and Østensjø have plans to list their joint wind venture Edda Wind.

The plans emerge on the heels of Wilhelmsen upping its stake in the company significantly over the past half year. In September last year, the shipping group acquired 25 percent of the wind carrier as well as an option to buy another 25 percent. This option was recently called in, and Wilhelmsen thus owns half of Edda Wind now.
