Diamond Offshore names new CEO and chairman

Diamond Offshore Drilling, which recently emerged from US bankruptcy protection, has found a new CEO. The company also names a new chairman for the newly appointed board.

Diamond Offshore Drilling, which recently completed a major rescue plan under US bankruptcy protection, appoints both a new CEO and chairman.

In April, when the company left US bankruptcy protection under Chapter 11, Diamond Offshore announced that the drilling company's previous CEO and chairman of the board since 2014, Marc Edwards, had retired with immediate effect.
