Maersk Drilling divests more rigs

Maersk Drilling sells jack-up rig Maersk Inspirer to Havila Sirius. The money from the sale will be used to reduce debt, Maersk Drilling writes.

Rig company Maersk Drilling has entered a sales agreement for jack-up rig Maersk Inspirer, which has functioned as a combined drilling and production facility for the Danish company since 2007.

The buyer, Havila Sirius, will pay USD 373 million for the rig, which can drill down to 30,000 feet in harsh environments.
