Offshore carriers move away from traditional markets to focus on offshore wind

Offshore carriers are concentrating their efforts on the rapidly expanding offshore wind market rather than the oil and gas market, according to a new analysis by Danish Shipping.

Since 2017, Denmark-based offshore carriers have solely placed orders for newbuilds that are equipped to service the rapidly growing offshore wind market in preference to the traditional offshore oil and gas market, according to a new analysis by interest group Danish Shipping.
