Growth in offshore wind division secures Boskalis a profit

Offshore wind company Boskalis is seeing growth in terms of revenue and earnings, according to its half-year accounts. The prime driver is an 18 percent growth in its Offshore Energy division which includes offshore wind.

After a troubled year marked by the Covid-19 pandemic, Boskalis has reversed its earnings in the first six months of 2021, according to the half-year financial report.

The Dutch offshore company delivers revenue growth of 4.5 percent to EUR 1.3 billion (USD 1.5 billion) compared to the same period last year, booking a net profit of EUR 97 million against a deficit just below EUR 100 million in the first six months of 2020.
