Odfjell Drilling sees growth from increased exploration

Norwegian drilling company Odfjell Drilling reports higher revenue and black figures on the bottom line in the second quarter, when the company's order book also grew.

Odfjell Drilling turns deficit into profit in the second quarter of the year as a result of an increase in drilling activities undertaken by the Norwegian company.

Revenue in the second quarter of 2021 grew to USD 233.0 million from USD 166.5 million in the second quarter of 2020, while the bottom line of the company's interim report reveals profit of USD 26.9 million. In comparison, Odfjell Drilling suffered a deficit of USD 6.2 million in the second quarter of 2020.
