Norges Bank predicts sharper decline in oil investments next year

Investments in oil and gas will drop by 8 percent next year, according to Norges Bank. This is a steeper drop than the bank's previous estimate.

Norges Bank predicts that oil and gas investments will see a bigger drop next year than first forecast.

The expectation now is that investments in oil and gas will drop by 8 percent in 2022, reads Norges Bank's monetary report. This summer, its expectation was 6 percent.
