Right now the whole world is hit hard by logistical challenges, but with a new agreement signed with Maersk, Vestas hopes it has found the right way to minimize freight problems.
Effective from Jan. 1, 2022, the deal entails Maersk handling the wind OEM's shipping needs, including door-to-door transportation from Vestas' subsuppliers to the turbine maker's factories and service centers. The agreement also covers air freight.
