Since the 2019 accident which concerned an exploding gas cylinder in the hands of two young employees working on Equinor’s Heimdal platform, the Norwegian police has been investigating the case. Now the police has reached a conclusion, demanding that the Norwegian oil company pay NOK 3m (EUR 301,623) – which Equinor has accepted, writes Norwegian media E24.
