Fred. Olsen Windcarrier puts IPO on hold

The market conditions for a public listing has deteriorated, ”not least by geopolitical tensions,” says the wind carrier as explanation for putting its IPO on indefinite hold.

Fred. Olsen Windcarrier (FOWIC) isn’t going public after all – at least not this time. The Norwegian wind service operator announced in early February its plans to issue 26 million shares at an expected value of NOK 1,495m (USD 167.7m). But three days prior to its Oslo listing becoming a reality, the process is halted.
